Welcome to our space! We’re glad you’re here.
We are a food bank and thrift store serving Sussex and surrounding rural areas. As our name suggests, we believe in working together for the good of our communities. On our site you will find ways to help us in our mission. If you are in need of help, we hope you will find that, too.
About Us
Founded in 1986 by concerned groups of citizens and churches, our community-minded organization strives to alleviate food insecurity and provide services for the benefit of those in need. The cornerstone of our organization is our group of dedicated people. From our governing Board & staff to our amazing volunteers and community partners, we work together to help the most vulnerable among us. We believe, in order to create a healthy, thriving community, we need to improve quality of life for everyone. Help us make Sussex a great place to live and work.
See our ‘Support the Food Bank’ page to find a way to contribute.
As a registered charity, every dollar you donate to us or spend at our thrift store helps The Sharing Club feed those in need.
As a food bank, we are a proud member of our provincial association- NBFDA. This allows us to work co-operatively across our province.
Our People
Our people make all the difference. If you would like to be part of our team as a volunteer Board member, please contact the office.
